Tasks: Read blueprints to determine work requirements . Troubleshoot and repair electric motors, transformers, switchgear, generators and other electro-mechanical equipment. Perform on-site servicing and repair. Test and repair or replace faulty wiring or components in electrical switchgear. Test repaired motors, transformers, switchgear or other electrical apparatus to ensure proper performance. Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts. Repair or replace defective machinery parts. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance work. Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up. Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions. Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment. Installing machinery and equipment. Operate machining tools to fabricate parts. Troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial, electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding.
