Your mission <strong>Job Title: Streetworks Specialist<br>Location: Office based (Coalisland or Penrith)</strong><br>Role Summary:<br>As a Streetworks Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting the GB Build with streetworks <br>requirements, ensuring compliance with regulations and resolution of concerns or issues.<br><strong>The role:<br></strong>• Raising, closing and managing permits from end to end including start/stop, PMR, variations, etc<br>• Processing TTRO and TTRN applications to various Highways Authorities<br>• Completing risk assessments in line with SWUK protocol<br>• Managing our works around other activities while focussing on collaborative working<br>• Understanding of permit scheme legislation and the requirements for managing permit conditions<br>• Liaising with the councils in Cumbria to discuss works and amend where necessary<br>• Provide streetworks administration support in accordance with business operations <br>• Ensure compliance with all elements of streetworks legislation through effective management of <br>notices, permits and other documents<br>• Have the ability to react and deal with issues arising as a result of our works.<br>• Investigate reinstatement defects, including accepting, disputing, passing to 3rd party and updating <br>trackers<br>• Notifying relevant parties of over-runs and ensuring the appropriate council are updated with action <br>taken<br>• Reporting low and high risk fails in a timely manner, including the processing and accepting or <br>disputing of the fail on the Aurora system<br>• Deal with customer complaints in relation to Streetworks activities and have the ability to resolve <br>these in a quick and timely manner<br>• Liaise with operations, local authorities and third parties to arrange bus stop / parking suspensions / <br>road closures and use of portable traffic signals<br>• Liaise and arrange traffic management alongside the traffic management team<br>• Support the development of processes, workflows and efficiency improvements<br>• Provide technical support and guidance to Operations in relation to streetworks offences and <br>associated costs such as FPN,S74 and inspection failures, with the ability to investigate.<br>• General administrative duties Your profile <strong>The person:<br></strong>• Previous demonstratable experience in a similar role<br>• Previous experience utilising Aurora and One Network<br>• Strong relationship with councils in Cumbria<br>• Good knowledge and understanding of TTRO / TTRN legislation<br>• Strong working knowledge of NRSWA, TMA and SROH legislation with the ability to transfer these <br>skills into day to day decision making<br>• Driven and able to work autonomously with high level of attention to detail<br>• Competent or advanced competency with Microsoft Office applications<br>• Excellent communication skills across all levels<br>• Demonstrable organisation and time management skills<br>• Have the ability to work on their own while still achieving deadlines<br>• Strategic mindset with the ability to prioritise tasks and focus on performance delivery while <br>promoting efficiency improvements<br><br><strong>Additional Information:<br></strong>This is not an exhaustive list of duties and requirements.
