Your profile <strong>JOB TITLE: Business Analyst</strong><br><strong>JOB LOCATION: Belfast – Hybrid working </strong><br><strong>TERMS: Permanent </strong><br><strong> </strong><br><strong>THE JOB </strong><br>This is an excellent opportunity to join our Business Improvement department supporting the delivery of projects and programmes by way of investigating business functions, business processes, data structures and information flows. <br> <br> <br><strong>WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?</strong><br><ul><li>Supporting the department in the delivery of projects and programmes by way of investigating business functions, business processes, data structures, information flows, etc.</li><li>Investigations of operational issues and problems and seeking effective business solutions through improvements in specified business areas or systems</li><li>Specifying data, data objects and information flows that align with business needs</li><li>Production of business analysis deliverables using relevant documentation styles such as Business Requirements Doc, Specification Doc, Test Plans, Support Scripts, etc.</li><li>Facilitation of workshops and meetings for stakeholders to gather requirements and document process flows</li><li>Colleague assistance by way of analysis of underlying issues and their root causes to identify available options for consideration</li></ul> <br><strong><u>Additional Responsibilities</u></strong><br><ul><li> Working in an agile team with SCRUM methodology</li><li>Work with the Business Improvement manager to ensure that a level of best practice within the business is defined, documented, and implemented.</li></ul><strong> </strong><strong>WHAT WILL YOU BRING?</strong><br><ul><li>A high level of concentration and a good eye for detail is essential.</li><li>Self-motivated and high customer-value work ethic.</li><li>Ability to own workstreams within a project plan and effectively plan and track delivery</li><li>Takes pride in achieving best mutual outcome for our customers and the business.</li><li>Ability to listen to and influence senior stakeholders and colleagues</li><li>Proven experience gathering and documenting systems / software requirements (functional + non-functional)</li><li>Strong working knowledge of manual / automated recording tools, i.e. data models, class diagrams, etc.</li><li>Knowledge of performing proof of concept / prototyping exercises</li><li>Exceptional organisational skills and an excellent communicator</li></ul><strong><u> </u></strong><br><strong><u>Experience</u></strong><br><ul><li>Significant experience as a Business Analyst</li><li>A proven background in delivering projects through Agile and Waterfall</li><li>Highly Proficient with MS Office Applications</li><li>Experience working within Telecommunications is advantageous</li></ul> <br><strong><u>Essential:</u></strong><br><ul><li>Knowledge of business processes, analyst frameworks and business requirements methodologies</li><li>Ability to work autonomously and with a small development team.</li><li>Strong analytical skills</li><li>Business / Systems analysis qualification</li></ul> <br><strong><u>Desired:</u></strong><br><ul><li>Experience working with Jira</li><li>ISO9001 Document control</li></ul><strong> </strong><br><strong>IS FIBRUS FOR ME? </strong><br>At Fibrus, we put our people first!
