About this role

Job Discription By day, DB55 is a buzzing co-working space for approximately 80 people across seven companies – architects, designers, sustainability pioneers, food innovators, and more. By night (and weekends), the space transforms: pop-up restaurants, product launches, workshops, exhibitions. You name it, we make it happen. And we need someone to help us do exactly that. Full time, for a period of 6 months, starting as of September.<br><br><h2><br></h2> Key Responsibilities <h2>What you'll be doing</h2><ul><li><strong>Event planning &amp; execution </strong><br>Planning, organising, and executing various events. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the event planning industry. You will work closely with our Venue Manager and Community Manager to support all aspects of event logistics, from pre-event planning to on-site coordination and post-event follow-up</li><li><strong>Hosting &amp; floor work</strong><br>During events, you will work alongside the event crew. This includes working behind the bar, opening and closing the venue, and guiding break-up or break-down works.</li><li><strong>Social media content</strong><br>During some events, we will need photos and videos to share on our social media channels.</li></ul> Required skills & Experience <h2>You'd be a great fit if…</h2><ul><li>You're passionate about events and love being in the thick of it</li><li>You communicate fluently in English (Dutch is a bonus, not a must)</li><li>You have F&amp;B experience – bar shifts, hospitality, that kind of thing</li><li>You have a background in tourism, hospitality or event management </li><li>You're proactive, creative, and bring ideas to the table (literally and figuratively)</li><li>A flexible schedule doesn't scare you – evenings and weekends are part of the deal</li></ul> What we offer <h2>What we offer</h2><ul><li>Full time (40 hours/week, €750/month)</li><li>Daily communal lunches</li><li>Commuting allowance (if you live more than 10km away)</li><li>Weekly sport classes such as bootcamp and yoga</li><li>Inspiring seasonal sessions, team drinks, lots of community events</li><li>The nicest international colleagues (no joke!)</li></ul> Application Process <h2>Good to know</h2><br>This internship is primarily intended as a learning experience and would be for 40 hours/week. But your schedule will shift week to week – flexibility is key.<br><br>We’re open to applicants from all backgrounds, but please note that <u>we do not arrange visas or residence permits</u>, so non-EU applicants should check Dutch work requirements before applying. Make sure to you hold a valid work visa for living in the Netherlands or would be able to obtain one independently before applying.<br><br>In exceptional cases, outstanding performance can lead to a full-time role.<br><br>You will first receive an automated confirmation mail.
