Job summary
An exceptional opportunity has arisen to become the next Practice Manager at Barrington Medical Centre following the planned retirement of our Practice Manager.
This carefully planned succession is designed to provide the successful candidate with a comprehensive induction, structured handover and ongoing support before taking full responsibility for the practice by August 2027.
The successful applicant will join Barrington Medical Centre in January or February 2027 and work alongside the current Practice Manager during a planned transition. This rare opportunity will allow time to build relationships with staff and partners, gain a thorough understanding of the practice and gradually assume leadership responsibilities.

Barrington Medical Centre is a well-established GP training practice caring for approximately 7,700 patients from modern premises within Altrincham Health and Wellbeing Centre. Main duties of the job
Working closely with the GP Partners, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across all aspects of the practice. This is a varied role requiring excellent leadership, sound judgement and strong business acumen. You will be responsible for managing the multidisciplinary team, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the practice and supporting the long-term development of the organisation.

Barrington Medical Centre is a friendly, ambitious GP training practice based within Altrincham Health and Wellbeing Centre.
We care for approximately 7,700 patients and have a dedicated multidisciplinary team including GP Partners, salaried GPs, GP Registrars, medical students, nurses, healthcare assistants, pharmacists, physiotherapists and experienced reception, administration and secretarial staff.
