About this role

Job summary We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Patient Feedback Coordinator to join our Anaesthetic Department, playing a vital role in improving patient experience and supporting consultant revalidation. Sitting at the heart of the service, you will work closely with Consultant Anaesthetists, the Business Manager and wider CSU teams to ensure patient voices are heard and reflected in highquality care. As part of this role, you will engage directly with patients and families, gathering meaningful feedback that shapes clinical effectiveness and service delivery.

Main duties of the job

Based within Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, you will manage your own workload, collect and analyse patient feedback, and produce structured reports that contribute to GMC consultant revalidation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organised, empathetic and confident communicating with a wide range of people.

What you will bring to the role We are looking for someone who can bring a blend of strong communication skills, empathy and analytical ability. From the job description, the key attributes and experience that will help you succeed include:

Confidence communicating with patients, relatives, clinical staff and senior managers. Ability to gather patient feedback sensitively, including during emotional or challenging conversations. Strong IT skills, including use of Microsoft Office, databases and spreadsheets. Experience collecting, analysing and interpreting qualitative and quantitative data. Ability to write structured, comprehensive reports for clinical and managerial staff. Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage your own workload. Strong interpersonal skills, using tact, diplomacy and empathy. Understanding of patient confidentiality and data protection principles. Ability to identify trends in data and highlight key findings.
