Main duties of the job This position is for a Weekend Support Worker - Bank at Barchester Healthcare located in Hull. The role is a casual, part-time position offering flexible working hours. The primary responsibility is to support patients at a Barchester independent mental health hospital. The employee will be part of a multidisciplinary team, helping patients with complex and challenging behaviors. The goal is to make a significant difference in the patients' lives, supporting them with dignity and respect, and facilitating as independent living as possible. Qualities required for the position include warmth, resilience, genuine interest in patients, positive attitude, and excellent communication skills. No prior experience is necessary as full training will be provided. There are also opportunities for continuous learning and professional development. The working hours are flexible and will vary as the role is for providing cover when needed such as during other staffs annual or sick leave. The pay rate is up to £14.80 per hour.
