Albury Ward
We are looking for an enthusiastic staff nurse to join our acute respiratory unit.

The Respiratory ward is an acute and fast paced unit, containing a twelve bedded high dependency area. The ward provides acute respiratory medical care for patients with a wide variety of Respiratory conditions. We specialise in providing patients with level 2 care including BIPAP/ CPAP and high flow oxygen.Acute Respiratory Medicine is continuously expanding its service and we require staff nurses who have the ambition to help drive these changes and help expand the service we offer. We have an excellent team with highly skilled chest physicians, therapists and specialist nurses. If you are someone who has an interest in clinical and professional development then Albury ward is suited to you.Commitment to undertake on-going training and development is essential. You should be motivated, keen to learn and ready to embrace change. Our commitment to you is to provide the environment for this to happen and ensure that you are part of our defined preceptorship programme.
Main duties of the job
As a registered, accountable and autonomous nurse to act in the best interests of your patients at all times and take personal responsibility for your actions and decisions. To be responsible for patient assessment, planning of care, implementing and supervising safe and compassionate care, and evaluating the effectiveness of care. As an NMC registrant facilitate learning and development of others. You will demonstrate leadership qualities and be open, transparent and trustworthy. As a Trust employee act with integrity and uphold the values and beliefs of the Trust and the NMC Code of Conduct.
