Main duties of the job The Receptionist/Administrator role at Operose Health entails responding to patient queries, managing appointment requests, and maintaining patient records. The candidate will also be responsible for emailing, scanning, coding clinical correspondence, processing prescription requests, and using information systems to support efficient workflow. The ideal candidate should have reception or customer care experience, be an excellent communicator, and possess basic PC skills including Word and Excel. The role demands adherence to procedures and the ability to maintain data security. Previous experience within the NHS is an advantage, but not essential.

Main Responsibilities: As a valued member of the Operose Health team, your key duties will include:

Responding to patient queries and liaising with the wider primary care team as well as managing appointment requests, signposting patients to our range of services and maintaining patient records and confidentiality. Emailing, scanning and coding clinical correspondence. Processing prescriptions requests. Utilising other information systems to support efficient workflow processes.Ideal Candidate: What we look for in new colleagues:

Reception or customer care experience is essential as well as an excellent communicator both spoken and written. Must have basic PC skills such as Word, Excel and email. Able to work within processes, procedures and maintain confidently and data security. Previous experience of working in the NHS is welcome but not essential. Person Specification

Qualifications Essential

Reception or customer care experience, excellent communication skills, basic PC skills (Word, Excel, email), adherence to processes and procedures, and maintenance of data security.
