About this role
The Toolmaker Trainee is responsible for learning the operation and setup of various tool room machines, interpreting blueprints, and developing skills in tool re-tipping, relief grinding, and tool sharpening. Under supervision, the trainee may assist with basic tooling projects and is responsible for inspecting machined parts using precision measuring equipment. The role also requires basic computer proficiency to enter data, locate information, and print drawings and part documentation.
