About this role
A Foster Child Placement Worker provides an array of direct services to the foster children and foster families participating in the organization’s Methodist Foster Care program. A Foster Child Placement Worker is a member of a team under the direction of a Foster Care Supervisor and shall be responsible for not more than 12 assigned therapeutic foster care children. Methodist Foster Care has four primary tasks designed to facilitate an effective foster care program: 1) recruit exceptional therapeutic foster care families 2) train and support foster parents 3) make beneficial placements of foster children 4) operate an excellent foster care program for the benefit of foster children
