Our mission is to address key challenges in future secure communications by enabling hybrid security architectures that combine Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) and Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC). Our current R&D efforts focus on the development of a hybrid quantum security combiner designed to integrate PQC and QKD technologies and enable interoperability across heterogeneous quantum communication infrastructures. We are looking for a motivated Post-Quantum Cryptography Engineer to join our growing team and contribute to the development of next-generation quantum-safe communication technologies. Role Overview As a Post-Quantum Cryptography Engineer, you will contribute to the research and development of hybrid quantum cybersecurity solutions. The role focuses on the design, implementation, and evaluation of PQC mechanisms within hybrid PQC–QKD security architectures. You will work closely with researchers and engineers to develop software modules, analyze cryptographic algorithms, and support the integration of PQC technologies into quantum communication systems. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement software components for post-quantum cryptographic systems • Integrate PQC algorithms into hybrid PQC-QKD security architectures • Analyze and evaluate PQC libraries and implementations • Contribute to the development of secure key establishment and hybrid cryptographic protocols • Collaborate with system engineers working on QKD integration and interoperability layers • Perform performance evaluation, testing, and security analysis of cryptographic implementations • Prepare technical documentation and contribute to project deliverables and research reports • Monitor developments in PQC standardization and emerging cryptographic research Required Qualifications • Strong background in Post-Quantum Cryptography • MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Cryptography, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Physics, or a related field • Experience implementing or evaluating PQC algorithms and cryptographic libraries • Familiarity with cryptographic protocols and secure key exchange mechanisms • Strong programming skills (e.g., C/C++, Python, or Rust) • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team • Fluent written and spoken English Preferred Qualifications • Experience with PQC frameworks • Knowledge of network security protocols and key management systems • Familiarity with quantum communication systems or QKD concepts • Experience working in research or R&D environments • Interest in emerging quantum cybersecurity technologies What We Offer • Opportunity to work on cutting-edge quantum cybersecurity technologies • Participation in an innovative deep-tech startup environment • Collaboration with academic and research partners in the quantum technology ecosystem • Direct impact on the development of next-generation quantum communication infrastructures How to Apply If you are passionate about cryptography and quantum-safe communications, we encourage you to apply.
