Context In a context of industrial transformation and continuous innovation, we are creating a new Global Head of Procurement role to lead and shape the global purchasing strategy across the Group. This high-impact leadership role will directly influence industrial performance, cost competitiveness, and supply chain resilience at group level. You will define and lead a global procurement strategy that directly impacts operational performance, cost competitiveness, and supply chain resilience across the Group. You will also play a key role in driving transformation, digitalization, and supplier ecosystem development. What you will do On-Time Delivery & Planning Coordination • Develop and implement robust procurement strategies to ensure the timely availability of materials and services. • Collaborate with production, sales, planning, and logistics teams to align procurement activities with operational needs. • Monitor supplier performance and proactively anticipate delays or supply disruptions. Cost Control & Economies of Scale • Reduce costs through strategic sourcing, volume consolidation, and supplier panel optimization. • Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising on quality or delivery. • Analyze total cost of ownership (TCO) and establish effective cost control measures. Quality & Compliance • Ensure all purchased goods and services meet quality standards. • Work closely with the Quality department to evaluate and approve suppliers. • Implement regular supplier audits and performance reviews. Performance Management • Define and monitor procurement KPIs internally and externally. • Use data insights to drive continuous performance and process improvements. • Deliver clear, actionable reports to senior leadership. Leadership & Team Management • Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing procurement team. • Create an environment based on accountability, collaboration, and continuous growth. • Set clear objectives and support team members in achieving them.
