Our client is looking for a Senior Paid Social Strategist (Media Buyer)
They're looking for a senior paid social strategist who loves implementing strategy and turning the dials in Meta Ads. The right person for this role already has a playbook for scaling accounts and geeks out on media buying, creatives, and testing frameworks.
As a teammate, you balance execution with strategic thinking — knowing when to optimize and when to escalate.
You'll own 6–7-figure monthly budgets, work directly with channel leads, and report to leadership.
The Role
Core Responsibilities
Collaborate with the VP of growth to develop our media strategy, media plans, and creative testing framework (audience targeting, segmentation, messaging, budgeting).Manage a portfolio of performance marketing campaigns across Meta and Applovin, with potential expansion to other channels.Conduct hands-on bid optimization; develop and implement bid strategies, audience testing, and ad copy testing to meet ROI targets.Build comprehensive reporting systems that support data-driven decision-making for campaign improvementsAnalyze performance metrics and recommend actions to increase conversions and business outcomes.Apply a growth-oriented mindset to identify cross-channel and omnichannel opportunities that amplify performance.
Collaboration & Communication
Work directly with your direct report to align campaign performance with business objectivesPresent performance insights and strategic recommendations in client calls and reportsTranslate complex data into clear, actionable insights for both internal teams and clientsNavigate complex stakeholder environments and align multiple decision-makers around performance goalsCommunicate proactively and clearly—client relationships are as critical as campaign resultsCollaborate effectively with client-side teams and other agency partners when applicable

Technical Foundations

4+ years in paid social media buying with focus on MetaExperience managing campaigns for brands spending $500K+ monthly on paid socialTrack record of consistently hitting or exceeding ROAS, CAC, and revenue targetsAdvanced proficiency with Meta Ads Manager and TikTok Ads ManagerExperience with campaign reporting and data analysis tools
