If so, you could be our new Chapter Lead Developers within the Tribe Customer Servicing & Efficiency! Within our tribe, we focus on innovative customer interactions through our Contact Center platform and advanced automation (including robotics and ServiceNow). Our goal is to deliver efficient, user-friendly solutions that simplify life for both customers and employees. Additionally, we play a crucial role in fraud prevention and detection, protecting our bank and customers from threats. Our multidisciplinary teams (squads) combine IT and business expertise to develop technological solutions that enhance customer service and process efficiency. As part of Agile Impulse, you’ll work in a dynamic, agile environment where innovation and collaboration are key. AND IN DETAIL As Chapter Lead Developers, you’ll lead a skilled development team while serving as both a people manager and a technical expert. You’ll report directly to the IT Tribe Lead and be part of the tribe leadership team. As a People Manager, you will: You nurture the colleagues in your chapter by ensuring they develop the right skills & knowledge and you manage with them their career plans; You build, together with your peer chapter leads, on a continuous changing and challenging sourcing strategy. You recruit new chapter members in line with current & future needs of the tribe and ensure a good onboarding of them; you are also in charge of the knowledge management; You ensure an open and transparent communication with resource suppliers thinking along in the multiple established value based partnerships. You support chapter members on difficult or complex questions and support them in the necessary changes by developing their agile maturity You provide during the year continuous feedback to your chapter members and are responsible for the annual evaluation and the renumeration decisions in your chapter. You contribute to the daily functioning of the tribe and represent your chapter in the tribe leadership team You help building an open feedback culture at all levels in our tribe and cultivate an open communication and a high level of trust. You act as a sponsor in one or multiple communities of practice (CoP) within the tribe. As an Expert, you will: Initiate and lead improvements within the tribe based on your technical expertise. Collaborate closely with squads, product owners, agile coaches, and stakeholders to continuously enhance ways of working, tools, and skills. Translate technical needs into strategic development points for your chapter and the Developers Community of BNP Paribas Fortis. Being part of the tribe leadership team, you dare to step outside of your role to intervene when needed on other transversal roles or topics like incident management, vulnerabilities management, DevOps Embedding,… YOUR TALENTS AND COMPETENCES At least 2 years of experience in a similar role. Experience in coaching and mentoring teams. Strong knowledge of software engineering and development/testing methodologies; a technical background in distributed technologies (Java, Spring, GitLab, CI/CD, etc.) is a plus. Excellent interpersonal skills-you understand your team’s needs and foster a growth mindset. Agile expertise-you’re familiar with agile teams and methodologies. Passion for innovation and a proactive attitude. Fluent in Dutch or French (oral and written) with strong English skills.
