This is a full time, permanent position. Shift work is required for this role, Working hours 07:00 – 19:00 on biweekly rotating shift pattern, which is: Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday. Week 2: Wednesday & Thursday.
We have fantastic opportunities for Analysts (both junior and senior) to join our Eurofins team based in our PSS site in Limerick. As a QC Environmental Monitoring Analyst, you will perform scientific procedures and produce accurate results within the required time frame under the customer quality system, using customer company procedures, and while adhering to Eurofins general policies and standards.
Job Responsibilities that you be covering:
Conduct routine Environmental Monitoring within ISO 7 and ISO 8 biopharmaceutical cleanroom environments, consistently maintaining strict aseptic behaviours and compliant gowning standards.As an Environmental monitoring analyst you will perform a wide range of routine Viable and Non-Viable sampling and incubation activities, including Passive and Active Viable Air monitoring, Non-Viable monitoring and Surface sampling.Complete sampling of Ethanol, Water for Injection (WFI) and Clean Steam (CS) systems.Carry out viable and non‑viable monitoring on compressed gas systems used for manufacturing.Support investigations by completing ad‑hoc sampling and swabbing.Maintain accurate, compliant documentation aligned with GMP requirements, safety protocols, and quality procedures.Report and investigate anomalous or quality-related events, ensuring adherence to quality standards.Support manufacturing operations by completing post‑shutdown and response Environmental Monitoring to maintain a robust, high‑performing and customer focused EM programme.Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance processes, increase compliance, and promote operational excellence. What skills, qualifications and experiences you will hold as an QC Environmental Monitoring Analyst:
Hold a bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline, along with experience working in a cleanroom or microbiology laboratory.Demonstrate strong practical knowledge of GMP, aseptic techniques, and cleanroom behaviours, supported by proven adherence to laboratory safety standards.You will bring excellent organisational, documentation, and data‑recording skills, with strong analytical thinking and attention to detail in both routine and investigative work.
Be able to work effectively within a team‑focused environment, showing strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering high‑quality customer service.Apply strong problem‑solving capabilities, including the ability to investigate anomalies and adapt effectively within a fast‑paced laboratory setting.You will be flexible in working shift patterns and demonstrate a willingness to learn, develop, and expand your skill set across a range of microbiological test methods.
