We are looking for an ambitious and hands-on European Satellite Workshop & Operations Supervisor to strengthen our team in Antwerpen in Belgium. In this challenging international role, you will take the lead in optimizing workshop operations, tooling, processes, and infrastructure for the inspection and minor repair of OEM and non-OEM rotating equipment across our satellite workshops in Antwerp and Valencia. You will play a key role in driving operational excellence, building strong local service partnerships, and ensuring the highest quality and safety standards across all workshop activities. Your role: Lead and coordinate daily workshop operations, including people, materials, and equipment. Support recruitment, training, and development of workshop employees. Monitor workflows, quality, and performance to ensure efficient operations. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices across satellite workshops. Ensure compliance with MES standards, quality procedures, and safety regulations. Maintain reliable workshop operations through preventive maintenance and process optimization. Identify technical issues quickly and implement effective corrective actions. Support production testing, quality assurance, and operational excellence initiatives. Contribute to a safe, collaborative, and high-performing working environment. Support budget planning and help optimize production and operational costs. Technical degree or Apprentice Training in Mechanical Engineering. Experience with steam turbines, compressors, and related equipment. Proven leadership experience in a workshop or service environment. Strong customer, supplier, and stakeholder management skills. Experience with workshop tools, machinery, and service infrastructure. Good understanding of inspection, repair, and maintenance processes. Proficient in MS Office and SAP. Independent, hands-on, customer-focused, and solution-oriented mindset. Strong communication and decision-making skills with the ability to perform under pressure. Fluent in Dutch and English; German language skills are considered a strong advantage. Based in the Antwerp region and in possession of a valid EU passport.
