Hva vi ser etter Do you enjoy the outdoors and meeting people from around the world? At Æra we create unforgettable Arctic Experiences for guest visiting Northern Norway. We are looking for passionate and responsible snowmobile guides to join our team in Tamokdalen, a beautiful mountain valley approximately two hours from Tromsø. Previous guiding experience is not required. We are also interested in motivated persons who are ready to learn, take responsibility and have a passion for outdoor activities, adventure and can handle cold temperatures. This position offers a unique opportunity to live and work in the arctic landscape surrounded by mountains and Northern lights. We are looking for persons that: Hold a valid drivers license (Category B) Holds a valid Scandinavian snowmobile license or speaks Norwegian/Swedish and is eligible to obtain a Norwegian snowmobile license (provided by the company) Are responsible, safety-conscious and able to stay calm under pressure Are confident leading groups and communicating clearly Speaks fluent English Have a positive attitude and enjoy creating memorable guest experiences Enjoy working with international guests Arbeidsoppgaver As a snowmobile guide at Æra, you will lead guests through the beautiful mountain valley. You will be responsible together with your colleagues for creating a safe, enjoyable and memorable experience while sharing your knowlodge about the area. Your tasks will include: Welcoming and informing the guests with the safety instructions before the tours Guiding snowmobile tours Ensuring guests are confident and comfortable driving the snowmobile Sharing information about the nature, wildlife and local culture Assisting guests with clothing Keeping a high standard of safety at all times Delivering outstanding customer service throughout the guest experience Vi tilbyr Competitive salary Staff accommodation available The opportunity to live and work in the Arctic wilderness A supportive and international team environment Unique outdoor working experience Opportunities for personal and professional growth Please note: the staff accommodation is located in Tamokdalen, where our snowmobile operation is based. Tamokdalen is a small village approximately two hours from Tromsø. This position is best suited for applicants who enjoy nature, outdoor activities and quieter lifestyle close to nature.
