Scheduled Weekly Hours: 30- Under the general direction of the ACNO, the Patient Placement Coordinator works closely with Admitting, the Emergency Department (ED), and inpatient nursing leadership to maintain hospital access and assign patients to clinically appropriate beds. The Patient Placement Coordinator plays an active role in managing patient flow. In this capacity, the coordinator manages phone calls related to patient placement and flow and utilizes hospital computer systems to support patient throughput across the organization.
