The opportunity
We're looking for a commercially curious Commercial Product Manager who sees products differently.
This isn't about maintaining the status quo. It's about bringing fresh perspectives into a highly experienced team, challenging conventional thinking and helping shape the next generation of our product strategy.
You may not come from the appliance industry - and that's exactly what excites us.
Perhaps you've built your career in FMCG, consumer electronics, retail, automotive, beverages or another fast-moving consumer environment where pricing, promotions and profitability drive everyday decisions. You understand how to balance customer needs with commercial outcomes and enjoy turning insight into action.
Working across our New Zealand market, you'll influence product strategy from new product introduction through to end of life. You'll partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance and our Global Product teams, using market insight and commercial analysis to optimise our portfolio, develop pricing strategies and identify opportunities for growth.
Just as importantly, you'll bring a fresh perspective. We're looking for someone who is naturally curious, commercially astute and confident enough to respectfully challenge existing thinking.
About you
You'll likely have experience in Product Management, Category Management or a commercial role within FMCG or another consumer-focused industry. You're comfortable analysing pricing, profitability and portfolio performance, thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy influencing decisions through insight rather than hierarchy.
Most importantly, you're ambitious. This role is viewed as part of our succession pipeline, offering the opportunity to develop into a future commercial leader within Fisher & Paykel.
