We are currently looking for an experienced Tax & Estate Planning Paralegal to support our client, a distinguished US-based law firm, in managing their tax and estate planning cases. This fully remote position is perfect for a detail-oriented individual with expertise in tax law, estate planning processes, and excellent organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys in preparing and reviewing estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and power of attorney agreements.Conduct thorough research on tax regulations and estate laws to ensure compliance.Organize and maintain client files related to tax and estate planning cases.Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on their cases.Prepare detailed reports and documentation for meetings and legal proceedings.Assist in the preparation and filing of necessary tax documents and returns.Collaborate with financial advisors and other professionals involved in the estate planning process.Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and estate planning regulations.Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, or a related field.2+ years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on tax and estate planning.Strong understanding of U.S. tax law and estate planning strategies.Proficient in legal research and documentation processes.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases in a remote environment.Benefits
