Our client is looking for a highly experienced Head of Ecommerce to own and lead their entire digital commerce ecosystem — from homepage to checkout — with full accountability for site-driven revenue performance.

The Director of Ecommerce will operate at the center of acquisition, retention, product, brand, and operations — ensuring the site is fully optimized to maximize conversion, increase LTV, and strengthen brand equity at scale.

The ideal candidate combines deep performance rigor with strong brand instincts. They understand how UX, CRO, merchandising, storytelling, compliance, and technical execution work together to drive measurable financial outcomes.

This role requires senior leadership experience — including managing designers, developers, and cross-functional stakeholders within high-growth, performance-driven CPG environments (ideally subscription-led).

Core Responsibilities

Full-Funnel Revenue Ownership

Partner with paid media and retention teams to optimize landing pages, funnels, offers, and lifecycle touchpointsUnderstand and influence acquisition economics (CPA, MER, ROAS, LTV) through site optimizationEnsure the ecommerce experience supports and amplifies all marketing initiativesOwn site revenue forecasting inputs and performance reportingWebsite Strategy & Optimization

Own A/B testing roadmap and experimentation frameworkLead ongoing CRO initiatives to improve CVR, AOV, subscription rate, and revenue per sessionContinuously refine site UX, navigation, merchandising, and checkout flowMaintain best-in-class site speed, technical health, and mobile optimizationProduct Launches & Campaign Execution

Own on-site execution of all product launches, seasonal campaigns, and promotional eventsAlign cross-functional timelines to ensure flawless launch executionBrand & Experience Excellence

Maintain high standards for brand consistency across all digital touchpointsBalance design integrity with performance optimizationEnsure compliance across claims, pricing, subscription mechanics, and messagingOperational Leadership

Oversee developers, designers, CRO specialists, and external partnersEstablish clear workflows, KPIs, and accountability structuresIdentify and resolve technical and operational bottlenecks proactivelyEnsure ecommerce systems operate reliably at scale

Requirements

Proven experience leading and scaling ecommerce teams within high-growth, subscription-led CPG brandsComplete ownership mindset — clear departmental leader accountable for website performance and revenue impactDeep understanding of website performance from the roots, including pre-landers, advertorial funnels, and direct response architectureStrong fluency in performance marketing (Meta and paid acquisition), with active involvement in CPA, MER, ROAS, AOV, and LTV discussionsClear history of driving revenue growth through CRO, UX optimization, subscription mechanics, and funnel iterationDemonstrated ability to manage senior contributors across design, development, and marketing while aligning cross-functional teamsThis is a leadership (in-house) role for someone who understands ecommerce is the engine connecting performance, brand, and product — and knows how to lead teams to maximize all three.Benefits
