QualificationsYour resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-03 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector supporting engineering functions for a unit or team such as: assisting in fact-finding or research; utilizing mathematical and scientific principles to perform simple tasks; and/or applying basic or commonly used rules or procedures of engineering to assist higher-graded engineers or technicians. Major DutiesYou will perform a variety of routine duties in support of professional engineers and engineering technicians.You will assist engineers and technicians in preparing work procedures, which sequence work and/or testing and provides explicit instructions for inspections, connection of temporary systems and/or testing of equipment.You will assist engineers and technicians in reviewing inspection data such as inspection reports and deficiencies.You will assist engineers and technicians in preparing changes to specific technical procedures, both locally developed or detailed technical requirements, established by higher authority.
