This position is focused on bringing technical expertise and hands-on support to the design, optimization, and transfer of manufacturing processes for medical devices. The technician will act as a bridge between engineering and production teams, ensuring processes are efficient, well-documented, and aligned with quality standards.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Main Responsibilities</strong>:</p> <ul> <li><strong>Support </strong>the development, optimization, and validation of processes, tooling, and equipment for new product introductions.</li> <li><strong>Perform </strong>advanced equipment setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance to ensure reliability during process development.</li> <li><strong>Execute </strong>complex product builds across all development phases, including feasibility, characterization, and validation.</li> <li><strong>Collect</strong>, <strong>analyze</strong>, and <strong>report </strong>process data to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.</li> <li><strong>Collaborate </strong>with engineers to design and implement fixtures, tooling, and process improvements.</li> <li><strong>Provide </strong>mentorship and training to junior technicians and operators, promoting best practices and adherence to procedures.</li> <li><strong>Serve </strong>as the primary technical point of contact for pilot production and early-stage product transfers.</li> <li><strong>Participate </strong>in cross-functional reviews and contribute technical input to project documentation.</li> <li><strong>Apply </strong>lean and Six Sigma principles to streamline processes, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.</li> <li><strong>Ensure </strong>compliance with Good Documentation Practices, safety standards, and company policies.<br><br></li> </ul> <p><strong>Requires Qualifications</strong>:</p> <ul> <li>Associate's or Technical Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field. </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Relevant Experience</strong>:</p> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience in medical device manufacturing, process development, or R&D environment.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Skills </strong>& <strong>Knowledge</strong>:</p> <ul> <li>Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical documents, and validation protocols.</li> <li>Proficient in the use of inspection equipment and measurement tools (vision systems, micrometers, calipers, etc.).</li> <li>Hands-on experience with process validation, documentation, and transfer to production.</li> <li>Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and in teams.</li> <li>Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with SAP or similar systems.</li> <li>Effective communication and collaboration skills across multiple functions and levels of the organization.
