With sites in the United States, European Union, and Asia, and over 2,200 employees worldwide, together, we will meet tomorrow's challenges today.</p> <p style="margin-bottom:10.0px;text-align:justify"> </p> </div> </div> </div><p><strong>Job Purpose</strong>:</p> <p>Lead the sourcing function by supervising the purchasing team, ensuring the effective and uninterrupted supply of direct and indirect materials for both new and existing production lines. </p> <p>The role is responsible for building and stabilizing material sourcing strategies and supplier networks to support production ramp-ups, executing sourcing initiatives for new projects, and implementing systems and controls that guarantee material availability, cost competitiveness, and compliance with quality and regulatory requirements, in alignment with operational goals. </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Main Responsibilities</strong>:</p> <ul> <li>Ensure continuous supply of direct and indirect materials for running production lines by supervising the purchasing team, monitoring inventory levels, and resolving supply risks. </li> <li>Lead sourcing activities for new and transferred production lines, building robust material supply strategies aligned with ramp-up plans and customer demand. </li> <li>Supervise and develop the purchasing team, ensuring clear priorities, workload balance, performance management, and alignment with operational objectives. </li> <li>Lead complex supplier and material change projects, including supplier transfers, dual sourcing, and technical validations. </li> <li>Drive cost reduction initiatives through value analysis/value engineering (VA/VE), supplier negotiations, and sourcing optimization strategies. </li> <li>Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, PD, R&D, Quality, Planning, Operations, and Customers to ensure sourcing alignment with technical and production requirements. </li> <li>Develop and implement sourcing systems, processes, and controls to ensure stable and predictable material flow for established production lines. </li> <li>Manage supplier performance, risk assessments, and business continuity plans, including dual sourcing and contingency strategies. </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong>:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree with a major in Engineering, finance, business administration. </li> <li>Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing companies. </li> <li>Minimum 3 years in manager position. </li> <li>Experience in medical companies. </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Skills & Knowledge</strong>: </p> <ul> <li>Excellent bilingual (English/Spanish) verbal and writing communication skills. </li> <li>Advanced computer proficiency.</li> <li>Proven experience supervising Engineering Level Professionals. </li> <li>Leading opportunities for continuous improvement and cost reduction. </li> <li>Strong understanding of cost modeling, supplier process controls, and advanced manufacturing technologies. </li> <li>Experience in managing budgets, expenses, CAPEX and inventory needs. </li> <li>Strong background in sourcing, supplier development, or supply chain engineering within manufacturing environments. </li> <li>Deep understanding of Manufacturing processes, variances and absorption. </li> <li>Proven experience monitoring Production plans and adjusting to changes. </li> <li>Able to operate and thrive under high levels of volume, change and uncertainty. </li> <li>Highly developed leadership competencies. </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong>:</p> <ul> <li>Master’s degree (MS). </li> <li>Proficient in using SAP. </li> <li>Proven experience monitoring projects and transfers adjusting to changes. </li> <li>Understanding of Catheter Manufacturing Technologies and Materials. </li> <li>Project Management. </li> <li>Black Belt. </li> <li>APICs.</li> </ul><style type="text/css">.joqReqDescription .float-right { position: relative; right: 0px; bottom: 40px; float: right; } .joqReqDescription .float-left { float: left; margin-top: 15px !important; } .openmind { width:300px; } .badge { height: 80px; } .ex_footer { height: 140px; } .logos_hpm_bottum img{ max-height: 140px; padding: 20px; display: inline-block; vertical-align: middle; } .logos_hpm_bottum{ height:140px; margin-bottom: 35px; } </style> <div class="footer" style="padding-top:33.0px"> <div class="padding"> <p style="margin-bottom:10.0px;text-align:justify"><strong>Curious?
