Prioritizing employee growth and development, we empower everyone to reach their full potential on their own terms.</p> <p> </p> <h3><b>Bombardier’s Benefits Program</b></h3> <p> </p> <p>With our employees’ well-being top of mind, we offer a comprehensive and competitive Benefits Program, which includes the following: </p> <ul> <li>Insurance plans <ul> <li><em>Dental, medical, life insurance, disability, and more </em></li> </ul> </li> <li>Competitive base salary </li> <li>Retirement savings plan </li> <li>Employee Assistance Program </li> <li>Tele Health Program </li> </ul> <div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="word-wrap:break-word"><H3 style="margin:0.0px"><b>What are your contributions to the team?</b></H3> </div><div><ul> <li>In your role, reporting to the Director of Product Development.</li> <li>Represent the Interior Completions Cabin Design team for all aspects of the design, standardization of best practices, optimization of cost and weight while delivering a customer cabin experience that is world class quality.</li> <li>Closely interface with Stress, Systems, Structures, and support functions such as thermodynamics, mass properties, acoustics, etc.</li> <li>Generate preliminary design studies and layouts using 3D modeling.</li> <li>Ensure the establishment and compliance with departmental policies and procedures.</li> <li>Provide technical solutions to resolve design or manufacturing issues. </li> <li>Generate and execute weight savings ideas. </li> <li>Supply input to impact analysis (technical, cost, schedule). </li> <li>Support directly other engineering and operations departments. </li> <li>Support or lead design and program reviews with partner/suppliers. </li> <li>Provide status for project and functional management. </li> <li>Manage design changes through all the cycles of the change management process. </li> <li>Execute activities to support business objectives, on time, on budget and on quality. </li> <li>Coordinate the management of the various external partners of the program. </li> <li>Deliver engineering documentation and provide adequate visibility. </li> <li>Communicate effectively with all hierarchical levels of the company. </li> <li>Ensure communication and collaboration between functions, so that they can contribute to projects.</li> </ul> </div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="word-wrap:break-word"><H3 style="margin:0.0px"><b>How to thrive in this role?</b></H3> </div><div><ul> <li>You have a technologist or bachelor’s degree in mechanical/aerospace engineering or aerospace technical field plus a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in aerospace or related industry.</li> <li>You must possess a strong knowledge of aircraft structures and/or systems installation: configuration, preliminary sizing, design for manufacturing, detail design (sheet metal, machined parts, piping, component assembly, GD&amp;T), material and processes, certification requirements, weight control and industry design standards. </li> <li>You have a strong familiarity in aerospace manufacturing processes and capabilities. </li> <li>Your familiarity with Aircraft systems overall operation and function is considered an asset. </li> <li>Your familiarity with in-service operation and aircraft maintenance is an asset. </li> <li>Your familiarity with Aircraft Interiors is considered an asset. </li> <li>You have knowledge of CATIA V5, Enovia and MS Office is required. </li> <li>Knowledge of NX and Teamcenter is an asset. </li> <li>You are an energetic person with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, have a high sense of commitment, are willing to accept responsibilities and act independently in a high-pressure partner/supplier team. </li> <li>You must be fluent in English.
