If you have a good idea, we'll provide the environment in which it will thrive and grow into a great product or customer experience. <br> Your ideas are our fuel.</p> <div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="word-wrap:break-word"><H3 style="margin:0.0px">In your role, you will</H3> </div><div><p> </p> <p>• Manage and deliver on time, engineering projects and activities related to major milestones for one of many existing and/or new platforms;<br> • Manage cross-functional teams in the establishment of scope, schedule and budget of engineering projects;<br> • Lead and coordinate technical Engineering Change planning, ensuring completeness and harmonization with stakeholders; <br> • Enforce adherence to Bombardier practices and Knowledge Standards to promote integrity and consistency in technical engineering activities<br> • Work closely with technical experts, business leaders, suppliers, and customer representatives to ensure adherence and compliance of projects scope, schedule, and budget;<br> • Manage and establish engineering related priorities between projects and activities, complete strategic schedule analysis, and communicate and harmonize these priorities;<br> • Identify and report on risks and lead risk mitigation planning and execution; <br> • Participate and/or coordinate within the internal safety and security processes to assess, contain, and correct potential product deficiencies with cross-functional stakeholders. <br> • Prepare and provide visibility of budget requirement / resource allocation;<br> • Prepare and present visibility reports for the various levels of the organization; <br> • Coordinate Integrated Product Development Team (IPDT) cross-functional reviews;<br> • Coordinate and manage multi-site activities and remote participation as necessary;<br> • Coordinate formal engineering document release (Drawings, ModSums, Compliance Documents, Service Bulletins etc..); </p> </div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="word-wrap:break-word"><H3 style="margin:0.0px">As our ideal candidate</H3> </div><div><p> </p> <p>• You have an Engineering degree, or relevant diploma with equivalent working experience, with 5-8 years in project management or aerospace;<br> • You are familiar with Program/Project Management processes and principles;<br> • You have sound aircraft technical and/or manufacturing experience;<br> • Previous experience in structural and / or systems development would be an asset. <br> • You demonstrate a professional attitude and superior communication skills;<br> • You have excellent organizational, time management skills, foresight, accuracy, attention to detail and commitment to objectives and responsibilities;<br> • You have a natural leadership and pro-active attitude with the ability to manage multiple priorities;<br> • You are self-motivated, autonomous, enthusiastic and results oriented;<br> • You are technically curious;<br> • You demonstrate ability to work willingly and independently in a fast paced, challenging environment;<br> • You have effective problem-solving skills with ability to make good decisions to move projects along to meet or exceed the targets;<br> • You have good computing skills; proficient in MS Office and experience with MS Excel and MS Project is an asset.</p> </div></div></div><p>Bombardier Aerospace is an equal opportunity employer with a non-discrimination policy.<br> If your profile meets the requirements of the position, we will keep you informed via email or phone.</p> <p>Join us at: careers.bombardier.com</p> <p>Your ideas move people.</p> <p> </p> <p><b>Job</b> Project Engineering Professional</p> <p><b>Primary Location</b> Aerospace Mexico (B.A.M)</p> <p><b>Organization </b>Aerospace Mexico (B.A.M)</p> <p><b>Shift</b> Day job</p> <p><b>Employee Status</b> Regular</p>
