Past Plant Engineers have worked to create the operations as we know it today.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">As a Plant Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and executing projects across our manufacturing facilities in the Cleveland and Mentor areas. Your focus will be on identifying and solving technical challenges while ensuring that all equipment and processes align with the organization’s safety, health, quality, and productivity standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the sustainability and growth of our operations.</span></p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Job Duties and Responsibilities</H2> </div><div><ul> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Collaborate in a team environment to execute capital projects for manufacturing facilities in the Cleveland and Mentor areas.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Take responsibility for the mechanical aspects of projects, which may include design, documentation, equipment installation, project management, and support.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Develop engineering solutions to improve equipment reliability and safety, reduce operating and maintenance costs, and effectively manage outage risks.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Create and maintain sustainable documentation for use by engineering and maintenance teams.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Design solutions that comply with ISO 14001 and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) initiatives to enhance environmental and employee health and safety standards.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Provide capital cost estimates and establish project timelines to ensure successful completion of project work.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Specify and solicit equipment quotations to confirm compliance with desired specifications.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Deliver technical support to the Production and Maintenance departments.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Coordinate and interface with process engineering, production, maintenance, and supply management teams.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Work closely with and often manage outside engineering and construction personnel.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Ensure all safety, health, environmental, and compliance requirements adhere to the appropriate regulations.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by managers within the Plant Engineering department.</span></li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Basic Requirements</H2> </div><div><ul> <li><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of experience.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Strong desire to take ownership of tasks and deliver results.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Demonstrates good judgment, self-motivation, and a commitment to safety.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work effectively, and meet deadlines.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Flexibility to handle diverse assignments and adapt to changing priorities.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Ability to perform hands-on work when needed and work collaboratively on the shop floor with employees and processes.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Technically proficient in CAD modeling.
