Job Summary: Perform necessary tasks in the pre-weigh of raw materials, the manufacturing and processing of bulk, and the cleaning/sanitizing of equipment Primary Duties & Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Responsible for pre-weighing all chemicals that are required in batches.</li> <li>Responsible for completing batches in a safe timely manner with passing quality specifications.</li> <li>Weighs, mixes, and heats materials in accordance with procedures and instructions per a given formula so that finished product will meet customer requirements.</li> <li>Produce bulk with use of a multiple phase batch making process.</li> <li>Record all production data on batch records inclusive of raw materials used, quantities and time intervals.</li> <li>Demonstrate ability to perform tasks efficiently and accurately</li> <li>Understanding of process flow charts and ability to recognize discrepancies and conflicts</li> <li>Must be able to visually inspect, detect, and correct any problems with the product</li> <li>Able to efficiently manage change throughout the work day </li> <li>Identifies any equipment issues and reports to management</li> <li>Proper material transfer to proper kettle/mixer</li> <li>Cleaning and sanitizing of equipment before or after manufacture</li> <li>Proper operation of all the equipment in all work centers</li> <li>Perform other related duties as assigned</li> </ul> Working Relationships/Key Stakeholders: <ul> <li>Responsible for equipment and work area cleanliness and equipment adjustments and replacements.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Collect product samples and prepare them for laboratory analysis and testing.</li> <li>Clean and Sanitize compounding vessels per SOP’s.</li> <li>Follow all cGMP and written procedures.</li> <li>Operates pallet jacks, forklifts</li> </ul> Financial Accountability <ul> <li>Maintain Accurate inventory through Preweighing and dispensing activities</li> <li>Proper disposal of product waste</li> </ul> Qualifications & Competencies: <ul> <li>Minimum 2 years working in a manufacturing environment</li> <li>Understanding of GMP, OSHA safety regulations</li> <li>High school diploma or equivalent</li> <li>Ability to perform tasks carefully, accurately and efficiently in accordance with specific instructions and in compliance with quality and safety standards.</li> <li>Effective time management skills, good math skills, mechanical aptitude</li> <li>Ability to reach, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds</li> <li>Demonstrates attention to detail</li> <li>Capable of using computers</li> <li>Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong listening skills </li> <li>Must have ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing</li> <li>Must be able to use all protective and safety equipment</li> <li>Ability to follow through on assignments and complete in a timely and competent manner.</li> <li>Positive leadership and interpersonal skills</li> </ul>
