Job Description The Bid Manager successfully leads and delivers top-quality tender responses. With excellent organisational capabilities, the Bid Manager has the ability to manage multiple bids and large writing tasks (possibly over a variety of sectors). He/She is an integral part of the success of a proposal. In Sapiens, the Bid Manager is a member of the Bid Management team that plays a crucial role in securing core parts of the business. There are two main elements that a Bid Manager must focus on to ensure the effectiveness of the Bid Management process: <ul> <li>First, managing the various stakeholders involved in the process;</li> <li>Second, managing the information and organisational elements of the bid process. </li> </ul> The seamless integration of these elements ensures an effective and well-structured bid that is completed based on the specification and on time. Main Responsibilities Our Bid Managers follow a structured approach to the bid management process which includes (although not limited to): <ul> <li>Review the RFx documents and understand the requirements and scope requested by the customer;</li> <li>Manage the response process end to end, including scheduling, assigning roles and responsibilities to stakeholders, following up with internal contributors, putting together top-notch answers, and ensuring timely delivery of responses;</li> <li>Become self-sufficient in replying to substantial portions of the bid;</li> <li>Track the progress made by the relevant stakeholders daily to ensure the bid process is on track at all times;</li> <li>Manage the review process and draw together all supporting documents, pricing elements and overseeing the submission of the tender.</li> </ul> Skills and Experience <ul> <li>At least 5 years of experience in a similar position;</li> <li>An Independent and a quick learner with technical or marketing writing experience and high attention to details;</li> <li>Commercial awareness: understanding the industry requirements and needs of the purchaser to align the response in the most appropriate manner;</li> <li>High organization skills and ability to work in a dynamic and fast pace environment, with the capacity to meet the deadlines on multiple projects simultaneously;</li> <li>Excellent communication skills to converse with a range of stakeholders that will have varying levels of input into the content of the bid and to manage projects end-to-end in a matrix environment.</li> </ul> Languages <ul> <li>English as mother tongue </li> <li>Additional language – an advantage (Spanish, German, French)</li> </ul> Sapiens is an E-Verified & Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer, M/F/D/V.
