About this role
<div>We are looking for a Junior <strong>Accounting Specialist</strong> willing to join our Finance team. You will contribute to the accuracy and reliability of our financial reporting processes while supporting an international and dynamic business environment.</div> <div> </div> <div><span style="text-decoration:underline"><strong>You will carry out the following activities:</strong></span> </div> <div> <ul> <li>Handling day-to-day accounting and document processing, particularly in accounts payable and travel expenses</li> <li>Preparing account reconciliations, reminders, and reports of all kinds</li> <li>Assisting in the timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS/HGB</li> <li>Preparing statistical reports (e.g. Bundesbank)</li> <li>Active participation in the standardization and optimization of processes, e.g. automisation with AI</li> <li>Collaboration in an international environment, e.g., within the scope of projects and/or analyses at the consolidated group level</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span style="text-decoration:underline"><strong>Required profile:</strong></span> </p> <div> <ul> <li>Degree or vocational training in accounting, as well as first relevant professional experience</li> <li>Ideally knowledge in SAP FI / SAP CO required</li> <li>Knowledge of accounts payable and consolidated financial reporting in accordance with IFRS / HGB</li> <li>Interest in optimizing accounting-related processes, ideally interest and know-how in AI</li> <li>Ability to work in a team, independence, and the ability to work autonomously</li> <li>Proficiency in German and English</li> </ul> <p>Workplace: Duisburg</p> </div> </div>
