Job Overview The security technician performs security monitoring in the facility, ensures a safe environment for SHL staff and visitors, and protects SHL company assets. Main Responsibilities <ul> <li>Monitors building activity by performing security rounds.</li> <li>Ability to work on a computer/ basic computer knowledge.</li> <li>Monitors facility video surveillance and pulls footage when assigned by the manager.</li> <li>Creates employee badges and key access request forms.</li> <li>Prepares the facility and other SHL property for inclement weather/potential disasters.</li> <li>locks/unlocks access points per manager approval.</li> <li>Partners with other departments as needed.</li> <li>Completes incident reports and escalates to management.</li> <li>Active member of the Emergency response Team</li> <li>Escorts visitors & staff within the facility</li> <li>Follows established protocols and responsibilities in the emergency response plan.</li> <li>Secures warehouse inventory and SHL Company Assets.</li> <li>Other duties as assigned.</li> </ul> Skills and Qualification <ul> <li>High school Diploma or GED equivalent (required)</li> <li>2 years of experience as a security guard.
