Job Overview This role is embedded in Production / Injection Molding of our new state-of-the-art device manufacturing facility in North Charleston, South Carolina. For interested candidates there will be an opportunity to initially spend an extended period in our facility in Taiwan for induction/training. Main Responsibilities <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:18.0pt;color:black">Operate and maintain Injection Molding/Automation equipment to achieve production goals. </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:18.0pt;color:black">Set up, operate/process, maintain, monitor and control injection molding equipment including resin drying and conveying, injection molding machines, hot runners and molds, fluid temperature control systems and robot/automation </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:18.0pt;color:black">Execution of production schedule to achieve production goals </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:18.0pt;color:black">Maintain controlled areas and environmental monitoring in injection molding production </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:18.0pt;color:black">Actively participate in production event response </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:18.0pt;color:black">Review and author SOP’s and other documents, as required </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:18.0pt;color:black">Assist during equipment maintenance, including mold & robot end of arm & IMM restoration, predictive and preventative maintenance </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:18.0pt;color:black">Actively participate in Systematic Problem-Solving tools to establish Root Cause Analysis & resolve equipment issues</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:18.0pt;color:black">Record/review production data and activities per SHL work instructions </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:18.0pt;color:black">Follow all safety and environmental requirements in the performance of duties </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:18.0pt;color:black">Support and implement system/equipment reliability improvement projects </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:18.0pt;color:black">High school diploma or equivalent required (AAS degree in related field preferred, or equivalent military training or industrial training or an equivalent combination of education experience </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:18.0pt;color:black">5+ years of relevant work experience </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:18.0pt;color:black">Knowledge/experience in the following areas: crane operation, compressed air/pneumatic actuators and systems, electro-mechanical controls, robotics, optical sensor systems, resin drying, molds, fluid thermal control systems, hot runners and injection molding machines </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:18.0pt;color:black">2+ years proven track record in injection molding </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:18.0pt;color:black">Demonstrated ability to support & actively participate in event response activities in highly automated / 24/7 production settings </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:18.0pt;color:black">Able to document problems & works to bring them rapidly to solution </li> </ul> Desired Qualifications <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:18.0pt;color:black">Experience in an FDA regulated environment (medical, pharmaceutical, food) preferred </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:18.0pt;color:black">Ability and experience with automated records systems such as SPC, MES, EWM, SAP </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica,
