Work in an agile, start-up inspired environment backed by the resources of a proven global company which supports mastering of core skills and exploration of new ones.</p> </div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>WHAT YOU WILL DO</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Quickly build and iterate Design concepts using Autodesk Alias Surface, both in NURBS and Sub-D.</li> <li>Understand Typical Sections and material separation for vehicle manufacture.</li> <li>Efficiently manage inputs including sketches, designer models, scans, package data, and verbal direction.</li> <li>Work harmoniously with fellow CAS modelers, Designers, Engineers, Fabricators, Clay Modelers and CMF Designers.</li> <li>Prepare digital models for 3D Printing and CNC Milling.</li> <li>Participate in Design reviews offering critique and reacting to feedback with creative solutions.</li> <li>Flexibly optimize deliverables to changing project constraints.</li> <li>Open willingness to support on anything to meet our goals.</li> <li>Maintain clean and safe work environment. <ul> <li>Travel up to 20% of time domestically and/or internationally.</li> </ul> </li> </ul> </div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Design degree or similar experience.</li> <li>Desire for learning, exploration and innovation.</li> <li>7 years’ experience in Autodesk Alias Surface for automotive OEM..</li> <li>Experience with any of the following is a plus: Dynamo, Grasshopper, VRED, Blender, and Python</li> <li>Understanding the Design fundamentals of Proportions, Surface, Theme, Graphics and Packaging.</li> <li>English language required for Multicultural Team Environment.</li> <li>Candidates applying for positions with Hyundai and KIA must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
