Inspect and maintain ground support equipment. Update, support, and implement changes and reviews of program Technical Publications, Service Bulletins, and Service Letters to program aircraft. </li> <li>Utilize engineering drawings and vendor manuals to resolve user concerns which are not covered in Technical Publications. </li> <li>Must have experience supporting secure communication devices, to include Desktop STEs, STE-Rs, KIV-7, and KY-100s. </li> <li>Should be familiar with and have the ability to utilize a wide range of test equipment to include spectrum analyzers, multi-meters, and in-line watt meters. </li> <li>Minimal travel up to 5%.</li> </ul> Job Qualification Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree preferred with a minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.</li> <li>Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. </li> <li>In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related</li> <li>4+ years of experience supporting secure communication devices, to include Desktop STEs, STE-Rs, KIV-7, and KY-100s.</li> </ul> Technical Requirements: <ul> <li>Highly skilled Avionics/Communications Technician with a high degree of tact and interpersonal communication skills. </li> <li>Five years of experience with avionics and communications systems. </li> <li>Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Products and possess basic networking skills. </li> <li>Will be capable of guiding lesser skilled individuals in troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance all mission systems. </li> <li>Must have the ability to evaluate maintenance and operational problems; then quickly and accurately resolve situations. </li> <li>Must also be familiar with troubleshooting techniques for a wide range of electronic communications components for both RF and digital systems in order to isolate and resolve faults. </li> <li>Must possess excellent customer presentation skills as well as exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for direct dealing with the customer, contractor partners, and sub-contractors. </li> <li>Must be available for on-call support 24/7.</li> </ul> Position requires an active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance and the ability to maintain the said clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship.
