<div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="margin:0.0px">External Job Description</H2> </div><div><p>Job Responsibilities<br>• Responsible for Maintaining the Critical Equipment&apos;s like Mixers, Extruders, Calender etc in a QBM way<br>• Lead and manage a team of skilled technicians in the execution and commissioning of innovative process improvements, ensuring timely project completion and adherence to CEAT&apos;s high standards.<br>• Spearhead the design, implementation, and optimization of cutting-edge mechanical systems and solutions for various tyre manufacturing processes.<br>• Champion a culture of continuous improvement by actively identifying and implementing solutions to reduce scrap, minimize downtime, and optimize resource utilization, driving operational efficiency and cost savings.<br>• Proactively analyze equipment performance data to identify potential issues and implement preventive maintenance strategies, ensuring seamless production and maximizing equipment lifespan.<br>• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and engineering, to troubleshoot issues, implement improvements, and achieve shared goals.<br>• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in mechanical engineering and tyre manufacturing technology, actively seeking opportunities to leverage new knowledge and techniques to enhance CEAT&apos;s competitive edge.<br>• Cultivate a safe and compliant work environment by ensuring strict adherence to all safety regulations and protocols, fostering a culture of safety consciousness within the team.<br>• Needs to work in shifts as &amp; when required.<br>• Responsible for QIP, QC, Kaizen, 5S Activities in the Department.<br>Qualifications<br>• Bachelor&apos;s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field with a strong academic record.<br>• Proven experience in a similar role within a high-volume manufacturing environment, preferably in the tyre industry.<br>• Strong technical expertise in mechanical systems, including experience with design, installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of industrial equipment.<br>• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.<br>• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.<br>• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.<br>• Passion for innovation and continuous improvement, with a drive to challenge the status quo and find better solutions.<br>• Alignment with CEAT&apos;s core values of integrity, customer focus, excellence, and innovation.</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="margin:0.0px">Competencies</H2> </div><div><div>Displaying Technical Expertise</div><div>Working Safely</div><div>Driving Continuous Improvement</div><div>Testing and Troubleshooting</div><div>Critical Thinking</div><div>Communicating Effectively</div><div>Solving Complex Problems</div></div></div></div>
