Responsibilities : • Source quotations, support negotiations, and process CPDC and POs for engineering items, Capex, repairs & maintenance, civil works, and IT-related purchases. • Execute procurement of electrical and mechanical items, consumables, tooling, lab items, and engineering services as per approved PRs. • Coordinate import spares procurement including quotation follow-ups, PO issuance, clearance coordination, and receipt at the plant. • Assist in Capex procurement activities for plant projects, including CS preparation, techno-commercial coordination, PO preparation, follow-ups, and payment processing. • Support AMC and service contract processing for utilities and engineering equipment (DG set, compressors, UPS, CCTV, calibration, pest control, etc.). • Ensure timely tracking of PR–PO–GRN cycle and maintain MIS for open POs until closure. • Handle urgent and breakdown procurement with proper approvals, ensuring minimum lead time and complete documentation. • Perform SAP MM activities such as vendor code creation, CPDC/PO generation, and service entry support for engineering purchases. • Support audit preparation by maintaining accurate procurement documentation. • Assist in cost control initiatives and alternate vendor development under guidance of seniors. Qualification : BE / BTech Technical: • Basic to working knowledge of engineering & Capex procurement processes. • Understanding of electrical and mechanical items, consumables, and engineering services. • Hands-on experience in SAP MM for CPDC, PO, and vendor master activities. • Ability to prepare comparative statements and track procurement activities. Behavioral: • Good coordination and follow-up skills. • Attention to detail and process discipline. • Willingness to handle urgent requirements and plant priorities. • Ethical approach and strong sense of responsibility.
