About this role
<p><strong>Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)</strong></p> <p>• Lead and drive the end-to-end S&OP process for Cables and associated businesses. <br>• Align demand forecasts with manufacturing capacity, material availability, and dispatch planning. <br>• Prepare annual, quarterly, monthly, and weekly business plans aligned with organizational objectives. <br>• Ensure synchronization between Sales, Production, SCM, Finance, and Customer Support teams. <br>• Monitor order booking, production planning, dispatch schedules, and customer delivery commitments. </p> <p><strong>Production Planning & Control</strong></p> <p>• Drive production planning and machine scheduling to achieve optimum plant utilization. <br>• Monitor daily production performance against planned targets and initiate corrective actions. <br>• Ensure timely availability of raw materials and coordination with procurement and stores teams. <br>• Optimize manufacturing throughput while maintaining quality and cost targets. <br>• Review production bottlenecks and implement process improvement initiatives. </p> <p><strong>Working Capital & Inventory Optimization</strong></p> <p>• Drive inventory rationalization and working capital optimization initiatives. <br>• Monitor inventory levels, receivables, dispatches, and cash-flow alignment. <br>• Ensure optimum stock levels for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods. <br>• Improve demand forecasting accuracy and reduce excess inventory. </p> <p><strong>Cross-Functional Coordination</strong></p> <p>• Collaborate closely with Sales, SCM, Production, QA, Finance, and Logistics teams. <br>• Facilitate monthly S&OP review meetings and management reporting. <br>• Support business leadership with MIS, dashboards, analytics, and strategic planning inputs. <br>• Coordinate with multiple plant locations for seamless operations execution. </p> <p><strong>Process Improvement & Digitization</strong><br>• Lead digital transformation initiatives related to planning and operational processes. <br>• Drive SAP, CRM, and automation initiatives to improve operational visibility and efficiency. <br>• Develop analytical dashboards and performance-monitoring tools. <br>• Identify opportunities for productivity improvement and conversion cost reduction. </p> <p><strong>Customer Support & Commercial Coordination</strong></p> <p>• Ensure timely execution of customer orders and adherence to dispatch commitments. <br>• Coordinate with commercial and customer support teams for issue resolution. <br>• Monitor key customer service metrics and improve order fulfillment efficiency. </p> <p><br><strong>Compliance & Governance</strong></p> <p>• Ensure adherence to company policies, quality standards, audit requirements, and statutory compliance. <br>• Support internal and external audits related to planning and operations processes.</p>
