Pricing, order recording and analysis of each contract, profitability analysis by program, accounting entries and month-end reconciliations, budgeting and strategic planning are just a few examples of responsibilities within our very dynamic team.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>During your internship, you will contribute to:</strong></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Participate in the monthly accounting process <ul> <li>Extract current data on sales, costs, inventory, etc</li> <li>Record new contracts in our backlog</li> <li>Prepare financial analyses related to programs</li> <li>Support the preparation of monthly financial statements for Bombardier Defense</li> <li>Analyze results and provide comments on variances</li> </ul> </li> <li>Support the accounting of Defense aircraft orders and sales</li> <li>Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations</li> <li>Prepare cost reports by department</li> <li> Apply cash inflows related to payments received</li> <li>Prepare and analyze various management reports</li> <li>Work jointly with the Defense Programs team</li> <li>Verify internal controls and ensure our compliance with the requirements of various auditors (EY, OSC, CASRA)</li> <li>Numerous special mandates.</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H3 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>How to thrive in this role?</b></H3> </div><div><ul> <li>You are in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting and a CPA certification,</li> <li>You have good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Excel in particular) and knowledge of SAP is an asset,</li> <li>You have excellent analytical skills, you enjoy teamwork and you demonstrate rigor, innovation, commitment and perseverance,</li> <li>You are able to work under pressure with short deadlines,</li> <li>You are bilingual (English and French) both written and spoken. </li> </ul></div></div></div><p><br><strong>Boarding Information:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Location: Administrative Centre (CA)</li> <li>Duration: 8 months</li> <li>Flexible workplace-Hybrid</li> </ul> <p><em>It is important to note that our internship opportunities are open to students only, not new graduates.
