Desk Overview: The desk’s broad mandate and expertise allows it to position its risk taking and activities where it identifies the highest relative value propositions with a focus on identifying market opportunities which require novel and creative solutions that do not fall within the standard boxes serviced by more industrialised competitors. Since its establishment, the desk has in particular developed a cutting edge franchise around financing the acquisition of performing / non-performing loans portfolios (granular / non-granular), and along with financing non-bank lending platforms originating RE-backed loans with consumers / SMEs. The financing solutions offered by the desk cut across the capital structure, with an ability to structure both senior and/or junior / subordinated structures when opportunities arise.
