<div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>The Role</b></H2> </div><div><p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-size:14.0px">This position will be supporting the assigned portfolio in the Finance Department.</span></span></p> </div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Job Responsibilities</b></H2> </div><div><ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li> <p>Oversee full spectrum of financial and accounting functions of the assigned portfolio in the Japan Finance team of Mapletree Pan Asia Commercial Trust (“MPACT”) .</p> </li> <li> <p>Manage, coordinate, and liaise with outsourced service provider (“OSP”) on the preparation of financials in accordance with JGAAP and IFRS, tax computation, tax filing/reporting requirements, TKGK/TMK profit distribution and withholding tax.</p> </li> <li> <p>Manage operational activities of the finance team, including streamlining processes and procedures to promote efficiency and accuracy.</p> </li> <li> <p>Ensure timely preparation of full set of financial statements for group reporting and statutory audit and managing the audit process, including liaising with auditors.</p> </li> <li> <p>Prepare management and financial reports including schedules, analysis of results, bank reconciliations, tax computation and any other reporting matters in accordance with the month, quarter and annual closing requirements.</p> </li> <li> <p>Budgeting and forecasting for the portfolio of entities.</p> </li> <li> <p>Ensure compliance with internal controls and policies (including delegation of authority, procurement policy, etc.).</p> </li> <li> <p>Liaise with business units, headquarter’s group reporting and forecasting teams, OSP, auditors and tax consultants as appropriate.</p> </li> <li> <p>Key driver for implementation of group policies, processes and systems.</p> </li> <li> <p>Reviews regulatory and compliance reporting requirements, including quarterly GST reporting of entities within the Group.</p> </li> <li> <p>Assist in ad-hoc projects driving process improvement such as SAP implementation, etc.</p> </li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Job Requirements</b></H2> </div><div><ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li> <p>Chartered Accountant (CA) with Degree in Accountancy or ACCA or its equivalent. </p> </li> <li> <p>At least 7 to 10 years of relevant accounting experiences and / or audit experiences with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.</p> </li> <li> <p>Well-versed in GAAP and IFRS.</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience in SAP and Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) would be highly advantageous.</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience in real estate or financial services industry is a clear advantage.</p> </li> <li> <p>Hands on with finance operations experience, good accounting knowledge, responsible, assertive, and experienced in managing people and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.</p> </li> <li> <p>The role involves frequent liaising with various parties such as inter-department, property managers/agents and auditors, hence good verbal and written communication skills are required.</p> </li> <li> <p>Candidates with REIT experience will have an added advantage. </p> </li> </ul> <p> </p></div></div></div>
