In this role, you will be responsible for the management of all processes relating to the collection, extending and delivery of the highest quality semen to all company nucleus farms, breeder farms and external customers when required.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:18.0pt">Your key responsibilities will include:</span></p> <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:18.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:18.0pt">Ensure the effective management of the operations of the artificial insemination Boar Centre and quarantine facility (including boar welfare, biosecurity and cost controls).</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:18.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:18.0pt">Supply boar semen to all breeder farms ensuring quality standards, volumes & delivery times are optimised to enable farms to achieve breeding objectives. Along with maximising genetic improvement in nucleus farms.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:18.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:18.0pt">Ability to train and collect semen from a boar and process semen for distribution to farms.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:18.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:18.0pt">Implement new and improved systems of work which will enhance long term productivity in conjunction with key stakeholders. </span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:18.0pt"><strong>About You</strong></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:18.0pt">The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:</span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size:18.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:18.0pt">A degree or diploma in Agriculture or Animal Science (and/or related experience).</span></li> <li style="font-size:18.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:18.0pt">High level communication skills, self-motivation, and strong attention to detail.</span></li> <li style="font-size:18.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:18.0pt">Intermediate computer skills.</span></li> <li style="font-size:18.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:18.0pt">Excellent organisation skills.</span></li> <li style="font-size:18.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:18.0pt">Preparedness to work flexible hours.</span></li> <li style="font-size:18.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:18.0pt">Current driver’s licence along with a willingness to travel to other business locations.</span></li> </ul> <div> </div> <div> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:18.0pt">Interested?
