Across these divisions, the company supplies to all areas of the hospitality industry, including restaurants, cafés, hotels, clubs, and resort groups, as well as servicing a number of other market segments Including health and aged care, education, aviation, and sporting venues. </p><p>Andrews Meat is seeking a highly organised and professional individual to join our team as a <strong>Quality Assuarance Assistant. </strong>This is an exciting opportunity to join a company that is leading the way in the meat industry. <strong> </strong></p> <p> </p> <p><strong>What we can offer you?</strong></p> <ul> <li>Discounted staff meat orders</li> <li>Strong safety culture</li> <li>Employee Assistance Program (counselling)</li> <li>Discounts with selected retail partners</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Work hours: </strong>04:00 am – 12:00 pm Monday to Friday - Permanent full time position</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):</strong></p> <ul> <li>Conduct pre-operational and operational hygiene checks (equipment, defects, microbial testing, pest control)</li> <li>Conduct area monitoring (temperature, process) within the factory.</li> <li>Preparing samples for the external laboratory as required.</li> <li>Complete and review relevant QA forms and reports, and other QA administration duties.</li> <li>Conduct Sensory Evaluation of products.</li> <li>Aid in the investigation of customer complaints.</li> <li>Communicate to QA Manager all quality incidents and hazards.</li> <li>Participate in Internal and External Audits, if required.</li> <li>Undertake other related activities as required.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Who are we looking for? </strong></p> <p> </p> <p><strong>This role would suit a highly organised and professional individual who has:</strong></p> <p>• An interest in quality assurance in a food manufacturing environment<br>• A strong sense of accountability and responsibility<br>• Commitment to company values and food safety culture<br>• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite<br>• Good verbal and written communication skills<br>• Unlimited working rights within Australia</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Are you ready to take the next step in your career?</strong></p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Apply now!</strong></p>
