<p><strong><span style="">About Us</span></strong></p> <p><span style="">The JBS Beef City Feedlot is part of the integrated Beef City facility consisting of farming, feedlot and processing operations. The cattle are walked from the feedlot to the plant, minimising stress and transportation costs, while simultaneously improving eating quality. Ideally located in the prime grain and cattle producing region of the Darling Downs, 35km west of Toowoomba, the 26,500 head capacity feedlot has a strong reputation for producing high quality grain fed beef for key domestic and international customers and employs approximately 50 team members. </span></p> <p> </p> <p><strong><span style="">About the Role</span></strong></p> <p><span style="">We are currently seeking passionate Pen Riders and Cattle Handlers to join our hard working animal health team. </span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="">Key responsibilities of the role include daily livestock handling tasks such as pen riding and stock movements, diagnosing animal health symptoms, and administering appropriate treatments. </span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="">The role also involves maintaining accurate records of animal treatments and stock movements, while ensuring strict compliance with JBS Australia’s policies, including Work Health and Safety (WHS), Human Resources (HR), Quality Assurance (QA), Animal Welfare, and Environmental obligations.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><strong><span style="">What's in it for you?</span></strong></p> <p><span style="">The entry level hourly rate is $29.50.
