The position focuses on helping assess repair needs, maintaining tools, and contributing to rebuilds of motors and gearboxes, while ensuring work is completed accurately and safely. It also involves inspecting and processing parts to determine usability, all within a collaborative, team-oriented shop environment.</p> </div></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:14.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><u><b>Key Job Responsibilities</b></u></H2> </div><div><p> </p> <ul> <li>Assist in laying out and performing repairs with accuracy and quality.</li> <li>Assist with assessing equipment repair needs and repair processes.</li> <li>Troubleshooting, maintaining and performing minor repairs to most assigned tooling.</li> <li>Assist with equipment component rebuilds and gear box rebuilds</li> <li>Assist with processing parts (inspect, clean, deem reusable or scrap)</li> <li>Working in a diverse team environment.</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:14.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><u><b>Qualifications/Requirements</b></u></H2> </div><div><ul> <li>2 – 5 years related mechanical experience.</li> <li>Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, charts, tables, handbook formulas</li> <li>Ability to use precision measuring instruments: mag particle tester, micrometer, laser aligner, caliper and bore gauges.</li> <li>Associates or Millwright Degree and minimum 2 years job specific mechanical experience.</li> <li>Basic understanding of hydraulics and electrical</li> <li>Basic welding and torch experience</li> </ul></div></div></div><p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><u><strong>Company Benefits </strong></u></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Komatsu provides an extensive and robust employee benefits package that is designed to enhance the well-being of our employees and family members.
