The responsibilities for this role include driving deep into the integration and understanding of die/forming interactions to deliver performance and quality improvements in extrusion through dies. Additional responsibilities include leading or supporting both short and long-term die improvement projects.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><strong>Day to Day Responsibilities</strong></span></p> <ul type="disc"> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Establish and maintain the interface required between die manufacturing and CET’s extrusion plants for die performance of new and existing die designs.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Ensure proper support for the resolution of extrusion performance issues related to dies, which includes troubleshooting and/or project leadership.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Support a culture of strong partnership between die manufacturing, extrusion plants and Division Engineering.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Lead and/or support projects focused on extrusion cost and capability improvements through dies.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Author and conduct rigorous experimentation in support of business objectives.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Engage with peers and leadership the following organizations to accomplish the mission: Division Engineering, PPD, extrusion plants and the business team.</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><strong>Travel Requirements:</strong> < 10% to CET’s extrusion sites (domestic and international)</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><strong>Hours of work/work schedule: </strong>Standard work schedule during business hours; Monday – Friday with some evening and weekend hours required to meet production, and project needs as necessary. Weekend team participation is a requirement of this role.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></span></p> <ul type="disc"> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering field with demonstrated work experience in a manufacturing setting.
