The Storeroom Supervisor will work proactively with cross-functional teams to maintain low inventory levels and drive for best price while keeping assured supply of MRO materials. Key initiatives include oversight of the Storeroom process; inventory optimization; and cost reduction. Position reports to the Supply Chain Manager. </span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black"><strong>Day to Day Responsibilities:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black">Supervision of department personnel, including task and people scheduling, performance reviews, timecard approval, safe work practices, career development, and department financial management</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black">Directly or indirectly supervises all personnel engaged in the management of plant storeroom and raw materials inventory. Responsible for shift meeting, SOP adherence, customer service, cycle count accuracy, stock-outs, replenishment, inventory turns, and supplier updates.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black">Storeroom replenishment process: order management, expediting/ forcing orders, critical spares, creating blanket orders, spot quotes for shipments (International), order acknowledgements, ensure past due report management – (PO backlog), and negotiations with suppliers on pricing.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black">Maintain DOS which align with plant, corporate, and GSM initiatives related to MRO materials.
