The position is responsible for analyzing tax law changes, building tax and financial models, supporting tax credit and restructuring initiatives, and coordinating work across cross-functional and global stakeholders. </span></p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Key Responsibilities</H2> </div><div><ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Monitor global tax law changes, analyze and summarize the impacts to Corning, and provide technical guidance to Tax Operations</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Supports tax projects through all aspects of the project, including development of Excel modeling, macro/micro step plans, research tax topics, tax modeling/tax attributes, reviewing legal documents, and coordinating with cross-functional/global teams. </span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Supports and implements domestic and international tax planning restructurings and projects in areas including tax credits, legal entity optimization, repatriation planning, foreign tax credit planning, cross border funding, and holding company structures. </span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Supports the documentation of tax positions and internal controls.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Supports Tax Controversy in domestic and international tax audits, assisting the gathering and strategic review of information.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Supports Tax Operations to ensure Tax Planning projects are recorded appropriately in the tax provision and tax return.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Partner with finance and other business areas with information and advice regarding tax matters, specifically tax credits.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Liaise with outside advisors and consultants where appropriate.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">The role requires a self-starter who is a team player, who thinks strategically and communicates proactively.</span></li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Experiences/Education - $122,405.00 assuming full time status.
