The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.</span></p><div><div qualification and change approval, balancing speed to market and profitability.</span></li> <li style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Support and execute qualification of cost-reduction opportunities for products and standard processes across the value stream. </span></li> <li style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Respond and support promptly and effectively to customer and commercial product change requests. </span></li> <li style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Ensure fit, form, and function (FFF) through test plans, design control, and change approval, balancing speed to market and profitability. </span><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Review and approve or reject permanent or temporary changes impacting FFF of released products.</span></li> <li style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Define and lead qualification test plans for material changes and product requalification. </span><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Review and approve or reject changes to released product configuration matrices. </span><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Assess and validate requests for minor product modifications and special configurations.</span></li> <li style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Partner with Product Development (FAST) on rapid adaptations of released products.</span></li> <li style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Collaborate with technical teams to identify root causes of design or performance failures.</span></li> <li style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Document and communicate product and process risk assessments, impacts, and resolutions.</span></li> <li style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Apply advanced root cause methodologies (MEE, Kepner-Tregoe, etc.) to identify failure modes. </span><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Support and validate cost-reduction initiatives throughout the product lifecycle.</span></li> <li
