The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. This requires project and workstream leadership in multiple areas throughout the Fulfillment Stream to accomplish long term improvements. The Fulfillment Stream includes both insourced & outsourced (Contract Manufactured) products.</span></p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Key Responsibilities</H2> </div><div><ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Lead the Product Engineering group for assigned product lines through supervisor support and ensure strategic objectives are met.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Clarify, understand, and document customer requirements, product specifications, industry requirements, and product applications.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Translate design parameters into measurable product specifications and performance requirements, including CTQs, drawings, BOMs, certifications, and measurement methods.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Define application use cases that impact manufacturing setup, product design, and packaging design.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Partner with Technology and Engineering to build product integrity into manufacturing through preventive quality architecture.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Partner with Global Supply Chain Management to ensure contract manufacturers understand requirements, manage changes effectively, and produce defect-free products.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Lead rigorous root cause analysis for product integrity issues and drive global corrective and preventive actions.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Assemble and lead cross-functional teams to contain suspect product, assess field exposure, implement systemic solutions, and manage change control.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Use advanced problem-solving methodologies such as MEE and Kepner-Tregoe Analysis (KT) to identify causes and reduce risk.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Document and communicate risks, including failure probability, customer impact, escalation plans, and recommended actions.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Identify gaps between product design and technical requirements; oversee improvement implementation and execute roadmap initiatives.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Respond quickly to customer and commercial requests for product changes.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Manage and track product modifications by clarifying VOC, assessing fit/form/function impact, and determining feasibility.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Partner with plants, Technology, and Engineering to implement changes and ensure requirements are understood and documented.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Track progress and ensure teams meet timelines.</span></li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Experiences/Education -
